I bought this for my former sleeping arrangement which may differ from most concerned buyers.
The image shows it partially unrolled and rolled up. It's dimensions are in the stock description but I find its distance of 80" to be a good feature.
People have noted for this and other colours its smell. Mine did not have any strong odour and what I did smell was wholly inoffensive. Maybe the maker altered it, or there are other variables, but a strong odour, or any marvelous odour, is not universal given mine lacks it.
For those comfortable on firm surfaces, this futon will probably be comfortable. For those not comfortable on firm surfaces, one will likely find this too be too thin.
My main use of it is not padding, but insulation from the floor. It does compress under pressure (under hips and shoulders for normal posture) to the point where there is limited padding at all.
It seems more thoughprovoking than the photo shows although this doesn't matter for me, if one is judging this by their colours, then they may not be true to appearance.
